Statutory text

(1) The competent authority shall ordinarily dispose of an application for supply of water within 1
- (one) month from the date of its receipt and in case of delay, it shall record reasons for not being able to dispose of an application within such specified time and shall communicate the same in writing to the applicant within a month.
(2) The submission of the duly filled up and signed Application Form along with the specified documents under the rules made hereunder, to the office of the Divisional Engineer, Water Supply Division, shall, deem to mean the acceptance of all the conditions and undertaking laid therein.
