Temporary arrangement for the office of the Chairperson

If the Chairperson dies or resigns his office or ceases to hold otfice or is temporarily absent or, for any reason, is unable to exercise the powers and perform the duties of his office, the Sponsoring Body shall authorize the Vice-Chairperson to exercise the powers and perform the duties of the Chairperson until the Chairperson resumes office or a new Chairperson is appointed, as the case may be.
