Meeting etc. of Market Committee

(1) Subject to the provisions of this Act, the Market Committee shall conduct its business as may be prescribed. (2) A Market Committee shall meet for the transaction of its business at least once in every month, provided that the Market Committee may in special circumstances meet at any time and at any place in the market area as may be prescribed. (3) Chairman shall preside over meetings of Market Committee and if he is absent, the Vice-Chairman shall preside over meeting of the Market Committee and if at any meeting both the Chairman and the Vice-chairman are absent, such one of the members present in the meeting as may be chosen by the members present may Act as Chairman.
