Provided that this definition shall not apply to a tenant who is to be allotted by the State Government land under the proviso to sub-section (1) of section 7A.

Application of this Chapter to evacuee lands The provisions of this Chapter shall apply to evacuee lands with effect from such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, specify.
