Transitional provision

The Government in the first instance may appoint an eminent educationist/administrator to act as Vice-Chancellor for a period not exceeding 2 years. The members of the first Executive Council, Senate and Academic Council shall be nominated by the Chancellor and shall hold office for a term not exceeding 2 years.
