Disqualification

A person shall be disqualified for election, nomination or selection as member of any of Ihe authorities of a Universily, if helshe,- (a) is, on the dale of eleclion, nomination or selection of unsound mind; or (b) is an uncertified-bankrupt or undischarged insolvenl; or (c) has been convicted of and sentenced by criminal court to imprisonment lor an ollence involving moral turpitude: or (d) is being elected, nominated or selecled consecutively for a second term. Explanation.--For the purpose of this clause the expression "term" shall include "part of a term".
