Notice of suit or proceeding

No suit or other legal proceedings, shall be instituted against any Samiti or the Chairman, member or employee thereof in respect of any act purporting to be done by them in their official capacity, until the expiration of two months next after notice in writing has been delivered to or left at the office of-

1. (a) in the case of a suit or proceeding against the Samiti, the Chairman; and
2. (b) in the case of a suit or proceeding against the Chairman, member or employee, delivered to them or left at their office stating the cause of action, the name, description and place of residence of the plaintiff or petitioner and the relief which he claims and the plaint or petition shall contain a statement that such notice has been so delivered or left.
