Additional powers to make rules

The State Government may make rules consistent with this Act: - (a) to declare by what Forest Officer or class of Forest Officers the powers or duties conferred or imposed by or under this Act on a Forest Officer are to be exercised or performed.; (b) to regulate the procedure of Forest Settlement Officers; (c) to provide for the ejectment of any person who has encroached upon reserves; (d) to regulate the rewards to be paid to Officers and informers; and (e) generally, to carry out the provisions of this Act.
