PENALTY FOR SECRETING, DESTROYING OR ALTERING REGISTER:- Any person secreting, destroying or dishonestly or fraudulently altering the register or any part thereof shall, on conviction, be punished with simple imprisonment for a term which may extend to six months and shall also be liable to fine.
