Control by the State Govt. & the Board.
The Manipur Town and Country Planning Act, 1975No bye-law shall come into force until it is confirmed by the State Government and thereafter published in the official Gazette. The State Government may at any time cancel any bye-law and thereupon the bye-law shall cease to have effect. The Authority shall carry out such directions as may be issued from time to time by the State Government for efficient administration of this Act, and the Authority shall obey all rules which may be issued from time to time by the State Government. If any dispute arises between the Authority and the Board as to whether any direction of the Board is or is not a matter of policy, the matter shall be referred to the State Government, whose decision shall be final.
