Meetings of the Board
The Manipur Town and Country Planning Act, 1975(1) The Board shall meet at such time and at such place and, subject to the provisions of this section, observe such procedure as may be prescribed in regard to the transaction of its business at such meeting. (2) The Chairman shall preside over the meetings of the Board, and in the absence of the Chairman, the members present shall choose one from among themselves to preside over that particular meeting. (3) All questions at a meeting of the Board shall be decided by a majority of votes of the members present and voting, and all members of Board, including the co-opted members, shall have one vote each, and the Chairman or the person presiding over a meeting shall have a second or casting vote in the case of equality of votes. (4) The quorum of a meeting of the Board shall be five, and if at any meeting there is no quorum the Chairman or the person presiding over the meeting shall adjourn the meeting or suspend it until there is quorum. (5) The Board shall have power to act notwithstanding any vacancy in the membership thereof.
