Provided that, any sum payable under any undertaking, if not paid when due, shall be recoverable as an arrear of land revenue.

Persons empowered under this Act to be Public servants All officers and persons empowered to exercise any powers or to perform any duties under this Act shall be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code.
