Transitional provisions

Notwithstanding anything contained in any other provisions of this Act and the Statutes and Regulations,-

1. (i) the first 1[the Vice Chanc ellor] shall be appointed by the Chancellor;
2. (ii) the first COO&R, , the first 1[Dean cum Advisor]

s and the first Financ e Offic er shall be appointed by

1[the Vice Chanc ellor] ; and

1. (iii) the first Board of Management, the first Financ e Committee, the first Dist ance Educ ation Committee, the first Research Council and the first Academic Council shall be constituted by 1[the Vice Chancellor] with approval of the Chanc ellor of the Board of Governors .
