The Jurisdiction of the University- The jurisdiction of the University shall extend over the State of Jharkhand for the purpose of imparting instructions and training through any means of communication such as broadcasting, telecasting, correspondence, seminars, counselling classes, online classes or the combination of any two or more of such means but in no case the University shall have any jurisdiction over the Universities, Departments, Colleges and institutions or other Bodies established in the State of Jharkhand for imparting formal education in any branch of learning: Provided that the University, with the agreement of other Universities or Bodies in the State of Jharkhand may utilise the buildings, furniture, library, laboratory and the services of teachers, on part-time basis, of other Universities and Bodies or their colleges functioning in the State of Jharkhand for establishment of study centre(s) on such terms and conditions as may be determined by the Chancellor.
