Regulation, how to be made-
The Jharkhand State Open University Act, 202132. Regulation, how to be made- (1) Subject to the provisions of this Act the Statutes and the Ordinances, Regulations may be made to provide for all or any of the following matters, namely:- (i) The courses of study to be laid down for all degrees, diplomas and certificates of the University; (ii) The condition under which students shall be admitted to the degree or diploma or certificate course and to the examination of the University and shall be eligible for such degrees, diplomas and certificates; (iii) The formation of programme in the school; (iv) The conditions and mode of appointment and duties of paper setters and examiners and the conduct of examinations: (v) The standard of courses to be maintained in the study centres; and (vi) All matters which by this Ordinance, the Statutes or the Act are to be or may be provided for by Regulations. (2) (i) A Regulation made by the Academic Council under sub-section (1) shall be forwarded, as soon as may be, to the Executive Council for consideration and approval. Where the Executive Council wish to make any amendment it shall obtain the opinion of the Academic Council and shall consider the same. (ii) A regulation/statute/ordinance shall have effect from the date on which it is approved by the Chancellor, with or without amendment, after consultation with the Department of Higher Education, Government of Jharkhand or such other date as the Executive Council may decide. झारखडगजट(असाधारण) मंगलवार, 23 नव.बर, 2021
