Notice of suit
The Punjab Court of Wards Act, 1903No suit ¹[or decree] relating to the person of any ward or any property under the superintendence of the Court of Wards shall be instituted ²[or executed] in any Civil or Revenue Court until the expiration of two months after notice in writing has been delivered to, or left at, the office of the Deputy Commissioner of the district specified in the order of assumption in the notification under section 9, stating the name and place of abode of the intending plaintiff ³[or decree holder, as the case may be, and such other particulars as may be prescribed by rules made under this Act]; and the plaint ²[or application for execution] shall contain a statement that such note has been so delivered or left : Provided that notice under this section shall not be required in the case of any suit the period of limitation for which will expire within three months from the date of the notification under section 9.
