Powers of Chief Officer of Fire

On the occassion of a fire the Chief or other officer in charge of the fire-brigade may, subject to such orders as the Commissioner may from time to time issue in this behalf, take the command of all municipal officers and servants present and of any other persons who voluntarily place their services at his disposal ; and may on such occassions exercise all or any of the powers specified in the rules.
