Amendment of Madhya Pradesh Act (No. 12 of 1963)

In the Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya Act, 1963 (No. 12 of 1963)-

1. (i) in section 6-

1. (a) in sub-section (1), for the words "shall extend to the whole of Madhya Pradesh", the words "shall extend to the whole of Madhya Pradesh except the areas within the territorial jurisdiction of the Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya" shall be substituted,
2. (b) in sub-section (2) for the words "situated within the State,", the words brackets and figure "situated within the areas specified in sub-section (1)" shall be substituted ; and
3. (c) in sub-section (3), for the words "within the State", the words, brackets and figure "within the areas specified in sub-section (1)" shall be substituted.
   • (ii) in section 7, for the words "throughout the whole State", the words, brackets and figures "throughout the areas specified in sub-section (1) of section 6" shall be substituted.
   • (iii) in section 55, in sub-section (1) for the words "within the State", the words, brackets and figures "within the areas specified in sub-section (1) of section 6" shall be substituted.
