This Act establishes Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya, the agricultural university of Chhattisgarh, to teach, research and spread knowledge in agriculture and allied sciences. The University has exclusive jurisdiction over agricultural education in its area and is open to all regardless of religion, caste or sex. The Act sets out its officers, including the Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, Comptroller, Deans and Directors, and its authorities.
