Chapter IV AUTHORITIES OF THE UNIVERSITY

Statutory text

(1) The Finance Committee shall be responsible for the financial management of the University and shall consist of the following members:-
- (i) Vice-Chancellor-Chairman ;
- (ii) Secretary to Government of Madhya Pradesh, Finance Department ;
- (iii) Secretary to Government of Madhya Pradesh, Agriculture Department;
- (iv) Secretary to Government of Madhya Pradesh, Animal Husbandary and Veterinary Services Department;
- (v) Director of Agriculture, Bhopal ;
- (vi) Director of Veterinary Services, Bhopal.
(2) The Committee shall exercise the following powers and perform the following duties:-
- (i) to approve the Budget of the University ;
- (ii) to consider Annual Accounts and financial estimates placed before it by the Comptroller and pass them without modification or with such modifications as it may deem fit;
- (iii) to lay before the Board annually a full statement of the financial requirements of the University.
