Chapter IV AUTHORITIES OF THE UNIVERSITY

Statutory text
  1. (1) Each faculty shall comprise of such Department of Study as may be prescribed by the Statutes.
  2. (2) There shall be a Head of the Department for each Department of Study.
  3. (3) The Vice-Chancellor shall nominate one of the Professors as Head of the Department and if there is no Professor, the Dean of the Faculty shall act as the Head of such Department until a duly qualified person is available.
  4. (4) The terms and conditions of appointment, duties and functions of the Head of the Department shall be prescribed by the Statutes.
