Chapter I PRELlMlNAHY
Statutory text
- (1) I1shall be the duty of the Registrarto make entries in the registcr. h m time to lime, to revise the same and to i certificate of registration in accordance with [heprovisionsoflhisAcl, and\he nrLs made thereunder.
- (2) (a) Every Registrar ofDealhs on receiving noliceof the death of a medical prac~itionerregistered under rhis

- (3) Any pcrson whose name is entercd in the register and who subsequent LOhis registmiion desires to record in rcgister any change in his name shall, on an application made in this bchaIland on payment of prescribed fee eniitled to have such change in his name recorded in the regisrer.
- (4) Subject to the provisions of section 26 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Ccnml Act 102 of 19561, against his name in [he register. dueconfirmation and approval of the Executive Cornmitree.
