Inquires as to compensation in case of private ferry being taken over by Government.

When a private ferry is declared to be a Government ferry under clause (b) of section 3, and any person claims compensation in respect thereof, the Collector of the district in which such ferry is situate shall inquire into the claim and submit his report through the Secretary, Local Administration Department for order of the Government.
