Collector may take possession of boats etc., on surrender of lease by lessee or on cancellation of lease.

When a lessee surrenders the lease under section 10, or his lease is cancelled under section 23, the Collector may keep in use his boats and equipment of ferry, until all necessary materials of ferry have been collected; in such a case, such compensation as the Government may direct shall be paid to the lessee.
