Duties of authorities, etc., to assist the Board

1. (1) . All public and local authorities or institutions shall render such help and assistance and furnish such information to the Board as the Board may require for carrying out its purposes and shall make available to the Board for inspection and examination such records, maps, plans, assessment rolls and other documents as may be necessary for the discharge of its functions and on payment of such fees as may be fixed by the Government.
2. (2) . It shall be the duty of all police officers and employees of the Board to give immediate information to the authorised authority about the commission of, or the attempt to commit, any contravention of this Act or any regulation or other instrument made thereunder and to assist the authorised authority in the exercise of its lawful authority.
