Nothing in this section shall apply to the Central Government.

Prevention of pollution, etc Prevention of pollution, etc.-It shall not be lawful for any person to.

1. (1) . bathe in any tank, reservoir, conduit, fountain, well or other place set apart by the Board, or by the owner thereof, for drinking puposes
2. (2) . wash or cause any animal or thing to be washed in any such place.
3. (3) . throw, put or cause to enter into the water in any such place, any animal or thing whereby the water may be fouled or polluted.
4. (4) . cause or allow to drain into or upon any such place or cause or suffer anything to be brought there into or do anything whereby the water may be fouled or polluted; or
5. (5) . do, or cause to be done, anything which fails to comply with such requirement as may be prescribed for the purpose of preventing any pollution in the vicinity of any source of water supply used for purposes of drinking, bathing or washing clothes.
