Exemptions

Exemptions The Government may, by notification exempt whether prospectively or retrospectively from the operation of any of the provisions of this Act or of any rules made thereunder any religious institution or religious or charitable endowment or vary or cancel any such exemption : Provided that before such exemption is varied or cancelled, the person affected shall be given a reasonable opportunity of showing cause against such variation or cancellation.
