Police districts

The State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, declare any revenue district of the State or part thereof, to be a police district. The administration of the police throughout such district, shall vest in the Senior Superintendent of Police of the district, who maybe assisted by as many Superintendents of Police, Assistant Superintendents of Police or Deputy Superintendents of Police, as the State Government deem necessary.
