Election of members

If any of the members is not elected under clause

1. (b) of sub-section

1. (3) of section 3, the State Government may, notwithstanding anything contained in that sub-section, nominate such registered practitioner as it deems fit, and the practitioner so nominated shall for the purposes of this Part be deemed to have been duly elected under that clause.
