Short title, extent and commencement

Preliminary

1. (1) This Act may be called the Punjab Homoeopathic Practitioners Act, 1965.
2. (2) It extends to the State of Punjab, the State of Haryana, the Union territory of Chandigarh and the territories transferred to the Union territory of Himachal Pradesh under section 5 of the Punjab Reorganisation Act, 1966.
3. (3) It shall come into force on the 28th September, 1960.
