Chapter IV AUTHORITIES OF THE UNIVERSITY

- (1) Any casual vacancy among the members of any authority of the University, shall be filled, as soon as may be, by the person or body who appointed, elected or co-opted the member whose place has fallen vacant and the person so appointed, elected, or co-opted to fill up such a vacancy shall be a member of such authority for the residue of the term of his predecessor.
- (2) A person who is a member of an authority of the University as a representative of another body shall retain his seat on the University Authority so long as he continues to be a member of the body by which he was nominated, appointed or elected and thereafter till his successor assumes office.
