Chapter IV AUTHORITIES OF THE UNIVERSITY
Statutory text
- (1) The Academic Council shall consist of the following members, namely :-
- (i) the Vice-Chancellor ;
- (ii) the Deans of Faculties ;
- (iii) the Dean of Student Welfare ;
- (iv) the Heads of Departments of various Faculties;
- (v) the Dean of Research ; and
- (vi) the Dean of Extension Education.
- (2) The Vice-chancellor shall be the Chairman of the Academic Council and in his absence any other member authorised by him shall act as the Chairman of the said Council.
