Licences for tapping for sweet tari, etc.

Subject to the control of the Prohibition Commissioner, Prohibition Deputy Commissioner or any officer empowered by him may issue- (a) licences for tapping of any trees for sweet tari for consumption thereof without fermentation or for the manufacture of jaggery therefrom; or (b) permits for the possession, transport or sale of such tari.
