Co-operative Bankto be eligible Co-operative Bank

A Co-operative Society registered as a Co-operative Bank underthis Act shall be eligible to be a Co-operative Bank within the meaning of clause (g) of Section 2 of the Deposit Insurance and Credit Guarantee Corporation Act, 1961 and shall be bound bythe following- No person may be an individual member of a registered society if he is less than eighteen years of age; provided that the Bye-Laws of a society may prescribe a higher minimum age.
