Amendment of Section 51

Sub-section (2) of the section 51 of the Principal Act shall be substituted as follows, namely :-"(2) The first meeting of a Municipality after the general election of Councillors to the Municipality shall be convened within thirty days from the date of publication of the names of elected Councillors in the Official Gazette under sub-section (3) of section 26." After sub-section 51(2), a new sub-section (3) shall be inserted as follows, namely :-"(3)Seven days" notice shall be given for the meeting".
