Removal of name of deceased person from the State Medical Register

(1) Every Registrar of Birth and Death who received notice of the death of any person whose name be known to be entered in the State Medical Register, shall forthwith transmit, by post, to the Registrar of the State Council a certificate of such death signed by him and stating particulars of the time and place of death. (2) On receipt of— (a) any such certificate under sub-section (1), or (b) any other reliable information regarding such death, the Registrar of the State Council shall remove the name of deceased registered practitioner from the State Medical Register.
