Power to State Council to direct removal of name from the State Medical Register and re-entry of names therein

The State Council may remove the name of any registered practitioner from the State Medical Register, who has been— (a) convicted for an offence involving moral turpitude; or (b) found guilty of misconduct after due enquiry in the prescribed manner: Provided that any name so removed may be afterwards re-entered in the State Medical Register under the direction of the State Council.
