Definitions

In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires: (a) "Member" means member of the Manipur Medical Council; (b) "recognized medical qualification" means any of the medical qualifications included in the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956; (c) "registered practitioner" means any person registered under the provisions of the Act; (d) "Registrar" means the Registrar appointed under this Act; (e) "State Council" means the Manipur Medical Council constituted under this Act; (f) "State Medical Register" means the State Medical Register maintained under this Act.
