Powers of Chairman, Housing Commissioner and other officers of the Board under specific sections of the Act

The powers of the Chairman, Housing Commissioner and other officers of the Board. (i) to incur expenditure under section 24 (ii) to approve estimates under Sec. 25 and (iii) to make and perform contracts under Sec. of the Act. and to take decisions and incur other such expenditure as are necessary for the proper functioning and administration of the Board shall be as described in Annexure-I. The various documents connected with security deposits shall be kept in the safe custody of the Accounts Officer of the office concerned. All the Saving Bank Pass Books or bank Pass Books shall be sent to the Post Office or Bank as soon as possible after the 15th of June each year, so that necessary entries on account of interest may be made therein.
