Chapter III OFFICERS OF THE UNIVERSITY

(1) The Registrar shall be a whole-time salaried officer of the University and shall discharge his duties under the Act, subject to the general superintendence and control of the Vice-Chancellor. He shall act as the Secretary of the Court, of the Executive Council, of the Academic Council and of the Academic Planning and Evaluation Board.
(2) The Registrar shall be appointed by the State Government on deputation from amongst such teachers with a minimum of 5 years of experience on the post of Professor of Government College or Universities or from among such officers serving under the State Government with at least 5 years' experience at the level of Deputy Secretary or its equivalent.
(3) The emoluments and conditions of service of the Registrar shall be such as may be determined by the State Government.
(4) Subject to the powers of the Executive Council
