Recovery of arrears of rent by summary procedure

(1) The Land Tribunal shall be competent to dispose of applications for recovery of arrears of rent, where the amount of such arrears does not exceed five hundred rupees. (2) Any landlord may apply to the Land Tribunal for recovery of arrears of rent in such form as may be prescribed. (3) In disposing of the application, the Land Tribunal shall follow the procedure prescribed for the trial of small cause suits. (4) The order of the Land Tribunal under this section may be executed through the court as if it were a decree passed by it.
