Wages for over-time work .

Where any employee employed in any beedi and cigar industrial premises works over-time on any day, he shall be entitled, in respect of such over-time work to wages at twice the ordinary rate of wages for that day. Explanation .—Where an employee employed on a piece rate basis works overtime on any day, he shall be entitled, in respect of such overtime work, to wages at twice the ordinary rate of wages for that day.
