The Mysore Transfer of Property (Extension to Agricultural lands) Act 1951 (My

sore Act XXXII of 1951).

This Act which is in force in Mysore Area of the State provides for application of the Transfer of Property Act 1882 (Central Act IV of 1882) to transfer of agricultural lands in the Mysore Area of the State. Transfer of Property Act was made applicable to transfer of agricultural lands in Gulburga Area of the State by section 3 of Land Reforms Act 1961. Transfer of Property Act is in force in the whole State. As suggested by the One-Man Committee it is proposed to extend this Act to the whole State so that Transfer of Property Act is applicable to transfer of agricultural lands through out the State.
