General power for Government to vary terms of purchase.- Notwithstanding anything in sections 5, 6 and 7, the Government

1. (a) vary the terms and conditions upon which and the periods on the

expiration of which, the licensee shall be bound to sell his

undertaking, or

1. (b) direct that, subject to such conditions and restrictions (if any) as it may think fit to impose, the provisions of the said sxtions or any of them shall not apply.
