Delegation of certain functions of Government to Electric Inspectors.--The Government may, by general or special order, authorise the discharge of any of its functions under section 12 or section 17 or section 34, sub-section (2), or clause V, sub-clause (2), or clause XII of the Schedule by an Electric Inspector.
