The Schedule
The Jammu and Kashmir Ayurvedic and Unani Practitioners Act, 1959Persons who are entitled to have their names entered in the Register of Vaidayas and Hakims-- (1) Vaidayas or Hakims who hold a diploma or certificate of any Government Ayurvedic or Unani College or School within the State or outside it, or a degree in the Ayurvedic or Unani Systems of Medicine of any University established by law in India [or who hold a diploma or certificate of ' Al Hakim' awarded by Mumb-ul-Tib College, Lucknow.] (2) Vaidayas and Hakims who have passed the final examinations held by the Board of Ayurvedic and Unani Systems of Medicine, Jammu and Kashmir or by any institution affiliated to the Board. (3) Vaidayas or Hakims who have passed an examination from any Ayurvedic or Unani Institution in State or outside it recognised by the Board for purposes of registration. (4) Vaidayas or Hakims who have passed the final examination of Ayurvedic or Unani Systems of Medicine from any institution in any where in the Indian Union by virtue of their having passed the qualifying examination from a recognised institution.
