  1. (1) There shall be a Director of Research, who shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor but in relation to the Agriculture College, Solan, the Director of Research shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor through the Pro-Vice-Chancellor. The Director of research shall also be responsible for the direction and co-ordination of research programme as set forth in section 34 of this Act and efficient working of the research stations.
  2. (2) The Director of Research shall exercise such powers and perform such duties as may be conferred or imposed on him by the Statutes.
