Octroi not payable on certain agricultural produce

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in the Himachal Pradesh Municipal Act, 1968 (19 of 1968), the State Government may, by notification, direct that in respect of such agricultural produce, notified under section 4, brought or received within a notified market area as may be specified in the notification, no octroi shall be payable by any person to a municipal committee from such date as may be specified therein.
