Powers of Authority.

The Authority while performing its functions under this Act shall have the following powers, namely:- (i) to enter into pond land, green belt and catchment area to perform its functions; (ii) to receive grants, donations, contributions and rents; (iii) to levy fee or charges; (iv) to receive Corporate Social Responsibility funds from private organizations; (v) to grant administrative approval for execution of projects; (vi) to release funds to village level committee on the recommendation of the district level committee; (vii) any other power, as may be assigned by the Government.
