Creation of Special Security Zone.

If and when the security of the State in an area is threatened by insurgency, any terrorist or militant activity, or activities of any organised crime group, the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, declare such area as a Special Security Zone: Provided that such notification shall be placed before the State Legislature, within a period a six months from the date of issue, or the first sitting of the Legislature, whichever is earlier.
